He may be slight of build but there’s a big heart inside Kieran Tierney.

As Hayden Stockley prepares to return to his no-mark career in the darkest outposts of England the young Celt will bounce back and enjoy more Hampden successes.

Not yet out of his teens the bhoy from Wishaw has suffered two serious ankle injuries but that hasn’t prevented him from becoming one of the best left-backs in the UK.

As well as ability and a passion for the club KT has got guts in abundance. Even the cowardly swings of Stockley won’t derail Tierney as he drives Celtic on to greater success.

In November injury robbed the teenager of a place in the final of the Betfred Cup, yesterday Stockley curtailed his involvement down to 25 minutes as the Scottish Cup made it’s way to Celtic Park.

There’s more to come from KT, it’ll take much more than Stockley to deny the bhoy from Wishaw from further glory as he continues to live the dream.
