Celtic have agreed a transfer fee with Sevco for goalkeeper Aidan McAdams to move to Ibrox.
The 18-year-old life long Celtic fan is expected to sign a lucrative three year contract and will join Graeme Murty’s travelling circus to play a series of glamour friendlies next season after opting out of the Development League.
After being approached by the players’ representative at 360 SPORTS Consultancy Celtic quickly agreed to discuss a deal with McAdams out of contract in May 2018.
Sevco have agreed to make an upfront payment around the £80,000 mark with further add-ons included in the deal depending on the players development.

McAdams has mainly been used as an over-age player for Celtic’s u-17 side this season with Conor Hazard and Ross Doohan sharing goalkeeping duties in the Development League.
During the UEFA Youth League matches against Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach Doohan made five appearances with Hazard playing in the home defeat from Manchester City.
With the goalkeeping position well covered Celtic were happy to discuss a transfer for McAdams with the fee based upon the Development Formula where clubs are compensated for the length of time that they have trained a player.
Similar deals were agreed with Brentford and Brighton for Theo Archibald and Josh Kerr.
McAdams was left out of Celtic’s 3-1 win at Murray Park last night with Ryan Mullen taking over in goals.
After going a goal behind in the 26th minute Celtic equalised through Ciaran Diver with further goals coming from Tom Caffrey and Kieran Campbell with the young hoops winning the double of league and Glasgow Cup.
