Donald Findlay didn’t spare Dave Murray when he summed up in the defence of Craig Whyte.
Murray was one of the defence witnesses but like many others became forgetful about some of the key details in the case.
After agreeing to the £1 sale of the club to Whyte, Murray later told hand picked journalists that he had been duped into the sale.
From the witness box Murray had explained that he had previously rejected a takeover for the club at the last minute because he wasn’t convinced that the motives for the deal were in the best interests of the club.
Highlighting Murray’s use of the phrase duped Findlay told the jury.

Findlay will continue his case throughout today with Lady Stacey addressing the jury on Monday before the retire to decide on whether Whyte was guilty of fraud in his 2011 £1 takeover of the club that is currently being liquidated.
Findlay says he will try and finish today but will not be constrained by time from doing his duty to his client.
