Chris Sutton has put the boot into Dave King’s childish comments ‘denying’ Celtic’s six-in-a-row.

The South African based criminal flew back to Johannesburg on Friday with a video interview held over for ‘Rangers’ TV.

After being forced to swallow his pride and instruct fans to buy out last season’s Sports Direct tat King turned his attention to his Celtic obsession.

As he attempted to win favour with the fans he warned about the danger of Celtic winning 10-in-a-row.

Since achieving regime change at Ibrox in 2015 King has watched Celtic pick up their fourth, fifth and six titles with his tribute act trailing 39 points behind the hoops last season after 38 matches.

Despite fans buying season tickets in record numbers King has already admitted to calling on additional soft loans with the cries from Ibrox becoming more and more desperate.

Claiming that Celtic have only won two successive titles is normally the domain of the darkest clowns on message boards but as he left Ibrox behind that was the message that King sent out over the weekend.

Responding to those claims Sutton told the Daily Record: “King may have intended his words to be just a jibe at Celtic but they are not just about Celtic. They incorporate the whole of the Scottish game.

Basically, he has told guys like Hibs boss Neil Lennon and Aberdeen gaffer Derek McInnes that their achievements and those of their teams in recent seasons simply don’t count.

The basis of King’s comments are basically that if Rangers aren’t involved in a competition, it doesn’t count.

That is simply ridiculous and a slight on every single other person in the game in Scotland.”

Last season King attended one Sevco match, the 1-1 draw with Hamilton Accies on the first day of the season.
