Brendan Rodgers wants Stuart Armstrong’s agent to come to a deal with Celtic.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season with talks about a new deal starting at the turn of the year.
Rodgers has turned around the midfielder’s career but is well aware that he could pick up a much higher wage in England.
Armstrong and his agent must weigh up whether he cashes in now and relatively puts his career on hold or places his trust in Rodgers to develop him to the next level and perhaps cash in on a move to England in two or three years.
