Slavia Prague v Celtic

Brendan Rodgers is sticking closely to his first choice XI for today’s match with Slavia Prague.

After the 1-1 draw with Rapid Vienna the Celtic boss suggested that part of the first half display seemed like a team that had never played together before.

Rapid’s goal came from a penalty after Dedryck Boyata was short with a pass back and Craig Gordon pulled down a Rapid striker.

Boyata and Gordon keep their place in defence alongwith Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig with the only change being Jozo Simunovic replacing Erik Sviatchenko.

Tom Rogic replaces Stuart Armstrong as the support midfielder with Rodgers again expected to ring the changes on the hour mark in the third and final match of the trip to Austria and the Czech Republic.

On Saturday Celtic take on Shamrock Rovers in their last friendly before the Champions League qualifying campaign gets underway.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Rogic, Sinclair; Griffiths
