Celtic’s Irn Bru Cup tie at Annan Athletic has been brought forward 24 hours to Tuesday August 15, kick off 7.45pm.
The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday 16th but with the first team playing away to Astana on that date the two clubs have agreed to bring the match forward.
Celtic beat Annan at this stage of the competition last season but came a cropper away to Livingston in the second round.
The match will be the competitive debut of Shaun Maloney as a coach with the former Hull City man joining Tommy McIntyre in charge in charge of the Development Squad.
In pre-season matches Celtic have enjoyed wins over East Kilbride, Elgin City and Albion Rovers and will be hopeful of enjoying an extended run in the Irn Bru Cup.
Should the first team progress into the group phase of the Champions League Celtic will automatically go into the group phase of the UEFA Youth League for u-19 teams.
