Celtic avoided Barcelona in the group stage of the Champions League but can ‘look forward’ to seeing Neymar for the third time in five seasons.
In 2013 the Brazilian icon was involved in an incident that saw Scott Brown sent off while he managed to get on the wrong side of Mikael Lustig last season and was booed off the park.
Since that match in November Neymar has been on the move for an incredible fee of £200m which more than doubled the previous world record fee.
Didn’t he have to get subbed last year cos Broony was ragdolling him ????

At least he won’t cautioned for nearly being crowned by a half full bottle of Buckfast.

Forget #FCBayern and #PSG – #RSCAnderlecht are the key to this group for us. Delighted that we get to boot #Neymar in the air too. #Celtic pic.twitter.com/Bf8Vrhoi0W

With PSG flooded with cash from Qatar money was no object for that deal with the main issue being to convince the player to switch from Barcelona.
As well as a £500,000 weekly wage packet Neymar claimed that the chance to move away from the shadow of Leo Messi was a motivation as he attempts to win the Ballon D’or.
Winning the Champions League has been the long term goal of PSG- getting past the 1967 winners will be the first step on that route.
