Celtic fans believe that it’s time for the club to sell Stuart Armstrong.
A poll on Friday on VideoCelts attracted more than 1,400 votes with 67% of fans voting ‘yes, time to go’ to the question of whether the midfielder should be sold.
Armstrong was one of the most popular players last season and played as significant a role as anyone in the treble success.
Since the turn of the year his contract stand off has gained more attention with hopes high that a new deal would be announced as a boost either side of the Scottish Cup Final.
The midfielder equalised with his 17th goal of the season in that match but with the new season well underway no deal has yet been signed.
Brendan Rodgers is still hoping to get the 25 year old to sign a new contract but significantly mentioned on Friday about getting a decision one way or the other.
Each passing day the balance in negotiations swings towards Armstrong and his agents- after months of delays and talks about talks 67% of Celtic fans want to see the club close the issue by putting the player up for sale and out the team.
