Celtic were again handed another tough draw in the Champions League with Bayern Munich, Paris St Germain and Anderlecht visiting Celtic Park.
The reality is that it basically boils down to a head-to-head with Anderlecht to see which side drops into the Europa League.
Bayern and PSG could be semi-finalists and are likely to make it through to the last eight as they have managed over the last half dozen years.
Good draw for Liverpool. Celtic have a tough group but the games against Bayern & PSG at Celtic Park will be amazing. The atmosphere ????????????????

Tough gig, but hey it’s meant to be that way anyway is it not? Lustig getting into Neymar is very watchable after last year’s spat https://t.co/sY8KVVeF5X

Plenty of glamour, no tedious “Battle of Britain” shite and a realistic possibility of European football after Christmas.
That’ll do.

Bright side – not in Barcelona’s group. Downside – Neymar coming back to Celtic Park again. Don’t care how good he is, he’s an arsehole.

I just want to say here that I think Celtic will win the Champions League this season. 100%.

The fixtures will be announced later tonight with travel to all three venues very straightforward although tickets to Anderlecht will be at a premium.
Celtic faced Anderlecht and Bayern in the 2003/04 season with the group also involving a French side, on that occasion Anderlecht.
Brendan Rodgers has a week to add to his squad, facing teams from France and Germany Celtic can expect a large cut of ‘market share’ which basically comes down to the size of the television payments from the competing countries.
