Odsonne Edouard has sent a message on Instagram confirming his move to Celtic.
News broke on Tuesday of Celtic’s interest in the Paris St Germain striker with French sources confirming last night that a season long loan had been agreed.
Brendan Rodgers decided earlier this month that he wanted to bring in an additional striker due to injury concerns over Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.
While the Scotland striker returned from injury to help Celtic past Astana into the group phase of the Champions League the next striker in line is 17-year-old Jack Aitchison.
Bringing in Edouard on loan provides a level of cover and allows Rodgers to decide whether the 19-year-old is worth buying at the end of the season.
Last season the striker had a loan spell with Toulouse cut short but his impressive scoring record with the French youth sides prompted Rodgers to make his move ahead of the transfer window closing.
