Nico Kranjcar believes that Celtic could lose five of their remaining 35 SPFL matches!

Yesterday the hoops made it 47 wins and four draws under Brendan Rodgers with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Kilmarnock.

Shortly afterwards Sevco stumbled to a 0-0 draw at home to Hearts leaving Pedro Caixinha’s side in sixth place closer to the bottom than the top of the SPFL Premiership.

SPFL sponsors Ladbrokes have already handed the title to Celtic with Sevco second favourites behind Aberdeen to ‘win’ the race without Rodgers’ side involved.

Despite the mountain of evidence telling him otherwise Kranjcar believes that Caixinha’s squad will be enjoying a title party at the end of the season.

We are playing against Celtic four times a year so to win the league you can lose all four and win the other games if they slip up,” the Croatian explained to The Sun.

The Old Firm games by themselves are not going to win the league. It’s about what you do throughout the season.

I think we have a good enough squad to compete with anyone in the league.”

So far the squad have failed to beat Hearts and Hibs at home piling the pressure onto Caixinha.

By the time that they face Ross County next Sunday Sevco are likely to be eight points behind two clubs.

Anything less than a win in Dingwall and Kenny Miller could be taking over as caretaker manager alongside Graham Murty.
