As well as having the best squad in Scotland Pedro Caixinha believes that Sevco always win!
Two defeats from five matches this season would suggest otherwise but two days after being turned over by newly promoted Hibs the fifth best coach in Qatar is back on the moonbeams.
Rather than analyse his side’s defensive failings and the way that they fell out of the game against Hibs Caixinha has delivered another chapter of upbeat management babble.
“Stronger and with even more desire to work and do the things even better,” he told the club TV channel. “The best answer is always work harder.
“Yesterday the boys came back into training, half did recovery and those who hadn’t played or had played less time gave me one of the best sessions ever since we arrived.”
He added: “We always win so at least if we don’t win we learn, so we never lose. What we learnt from this game is that we need to control the ball a little bit more in some moments because they equalised around 20-21 minutes and before that we had four easy losses which gave confidence to the opponent.
“Those are the points we need to keep working on, the boys need to understand it and of course during this week we will be a lot more focussed on these things.”
Despite television evidence showing Ryan Jack grab one opponent by the scruff of the neck and head butt another Sevco have today appealed against the red card issued to the midfielder.
Although his comments remain upbeat the heat is on Caixinha ahead of Saturday’s match against Hearts knowing that anything less than a win will have some fans calling for his dismissal.
Hearts travel to Ibrox after winning 1-0 away to Kilmarnock knowing that a win will put them three points clear of the Ibrox side and switch the spotlight from the managerial vacancy at Tynecastle to the Sevco hot seat.
