A month after joining Celtic Olivier Ntcham is preparing for a dream home coming- playing against Paris St Germain in the Champions League.

The midfielder played a huge role in Celtic’s aggregate win over Astana and stated after the return leg that he wanted PSG in the group phase.

That wish was granted by UEFA yesterday with Ntcham given the chance to return home to play on the highest platform that the game can offer.

It’s a very exciting draw and I’m happy because I wanted to play against PSG,” the midfielder told The Sun.

I come from Paris. It’s special for me because when I was young I was a big PSG fan.

I always follow the transfer stories — PSG have again spent a lot of money!

It’s the first time I’ll have played against their first team. My hero as a kid was Pauleta, the striker. I loved him when he was on the pitch.

I have two friends at the club — central defender Presnel Kimpembe and midfielder Adrien Rabiot — and I played against them when we were younger a couple of times.

PSG will visit Glasgow in three weeks time giving Ntcham the chance to experience Celtic Park at it’s finest.

The atmosphere against Astana was pretty special but that will be racked up a level or two on September 12 with the first of six matches that will test Brendan Rodgers squad to the maximum.

Celtic are likely to strengthen their side before PSG travel to Glasgow with hopes high that Ntcham’s former Manchester City team-mate Patrick Roberts will soon be back in the hoops.
