Paul Quinn has tipped Pedro Caixinha to complete his Sevco revolution!

Even the gullible are starting to doubt the ability of the fifth best coach in Qatar after two miserable home matches against Hibs and Hearts yielded just one point.

Anything less than a win at Ross County on Sunday will lead to a very slow international break with virtually none of the best squad in Scotland away representing their country.

Last season Mark Warburton managed three draws against the Dingwall club, two of them coming at Ibrox, with County knowing that a win on Sunday would take them above the toiling Ibrox side.

The notion that Sevco are nothing more than a slightly better than average Premiership club is difficult for some people to accept but over 41 matches the Ibrox club trail Celtic by 44 points.

Rangers must earn the return of their fear factor and can only do that by winning eight or nine games in a row,” Quinn, who was at Ross County last season, told the Daily Record.

They are still a scalp but is it impossible to beat them? No. When they do get back to winning games regularly I’m sure the pendulum will swing again.

Celtic are so strong just now and I expect clubs such as Rangers, Aberdeen and Hibs to respond.

Pedro Caixinha’s still adapting to our game. He can’t be judged at this stage because he’s gone through the club with a fine toothcomb and he needs time for his philosophy to take root.

For what it’s worth, I believe he’s added real quality to his squad. Ryan Jack and Graham Dorrans are terrific signings and teams they are facing will acknowledge they are better than last season.

The opposition may not be as fretful about facing Rangers these days but Caixinha will return the fear if he’s given the chance.”

It seems that Caixinha has more fans and backers outside of Ibrox these days.
