Stan Collymore went through the emotions of every Celtic fan as the hoops clinched their place in the group phase of the Champions League.
The former England striker is a die-hard Aston Villa fan but has grown to love Celtic with drama and passion never far away from their European exploits.
Last week’s 5-0 win over Astana should have made it job done but with 21 minutes left in Kazakhstan tonight the aggregate score was 6-4 in Celtic’s favour.
Welcome home, Hoops.

Three second half goals turned the tie on it’s head but after a couple of scares Olivier Ntcham delivered a massive chill pill when he found the Astana net off a deflection in the 80th minute.
When Leigh Griffiths completed the scoring in the 90th minute it put a gloss on the final scoreline that had included an unexpected panic in the middle of the second.
With an unlikely 8-4 aggregate Celtic go into Thursday’s group stage draw with Collymore probably rooting more for the hoops than any of the English clubs.
