JAMIE Lindsay made a scoring Premiership debut as he helped Ross County to a 2-1 win over Dundee at Dens Park.

The midfielder made a big impact at Morton last season with Jim McIntyre keen to take him to Dingwall where Jackson Irvine developed rapidly.

Lindsay opened the scoring in the 35th minute with Chris Routis scoring the second goal just past the hour mark with Jack Hendry scoring a late consolation for Scott Allan’s side.

At Pittodrie Ryan Christie helped Aberdeen put their Europa League exit behind with a 2-0 win over Hamilton Accies who had former Celtic u-17 striker Steven Boyd on from the start with Massimo Donati on the bench.

In the Championship Sam Wardrop got 90 minutes for Dumbarton as they drew 0-0 with Morton who included Connor McManus in their starting XI.

With three weeks to go until the transfer window closes there is likely to be half a dozen or more players going out on loan, mainly from the Development squad.
