There were growing signs of frustration among Celtic fans as the Patrick Roberts transfer saga continued.
As Nice looked elsewhere on Monday night for their Champions League squad word emerged that the Manchester City kid had decided that moving to Celtic was the way forward.
Anticipation was at a peek on Tuesday morning but transfers are rarely straightforward affairs.
If your glass is half full the two clubs are in discussions over whether the move should be a permanent or loan transfer.
If your glass is half empty the ‘deal’ has hit the rocks.
If trump starts a nuclear was before Celtic sign @patrick7roberts I’ll go aff ma nut ???????? Hell hath no fury like a raging Tim ???? https://t.co/6MYEuC7Lxi

Celtic have until 11pm on Monday to register a wild-card signing for the Champions League play-off against Astana. If Roberts is on that UEFA list the celebrations will certainly be on the wild side.
The subject is bound to be brought up this afternoon at Celtic’s pre-match media conference but Rodgers is unlikely to give too much away.
Until then the long wait will continue as fans scan for the only piece of news that matters- Paddy is coming home.
