Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths will start in attack for Celtic today with James Forrest and Moussa Dembele left on the bench.

Brendan Rodgers had some big decisions to make for his side to face Sevco at Ibrox with Stuart Armstrong preferred over Olivier Ntcham in central midfield and Tom Rogic selected to support Griffiths in attack.

After two successive 4-0 victories Rodgers takes his side to Ibrox today in confident mood.

On their last visit to the ground the hoops produced a sparkling display to win 5-1 to make it 10 points out of 12 from the tribute act.

Pedro Caixinha managed to survive that humiliation, a week after losing 2-0 at Hampden in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, with Sevco finishing the season a distant 39 points behind the champions.

For today’s match Sevco are without the injured Lee Wallace and Bruno Alves with Caixinha sticking his neck in the noose by picking Carlos Pena ahead of Kenny Miller.

Despite spending £10m in the summer and getting rid of a dozen of last season’s flops there has been little sign of improvement from Sevco who embarrassingly crashed out of the Europa League to Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg.
