Are Celtic worth a punt at 12/5 to beat Anderlecht?

Early last week plenty of Celtic fans backed the hoops to win at Ibrox with worried bookies slashing the odds from 21/20 on Monday down to 4/6 by kick off time.

Even at 4/6 it was a strong return but the fans that got even money or better well quids in by the time Leigh Griffiths started emptying the contents of his nose onto a corner flag.

Wednesday night in Brussels presents a much tougher challenge for the hoops with Paddy Power offering 12/5 on a rare Champions League away win.

It is a very difficult game to predict with pessimistic fans possibly tempted by the Evens on offer for a home win.

Given a one goal start a Celtic ‘win’ which would include a draw is 4/6 while the exceptionally bold can enjoy a cheeky 22/1 for Anderlecht Half Time followed by Celtic at Full Time.

Goal wise Paddy reckons that Leigh Griffiths is the more likely starter with the Scotland striker priced at 9/2 just ahead of 5/1 Moussa Dembele. Elsewhere on the goal market Kieran Tierney looks a more attractive 70/1 than Kundai Benyu who looks very skinny at 14/1.
