Bayern Munich fans staged a ticketing protest against Paris Saint Germain at last night’s Champions League clash at the Parc de Princes.

German football fans are believed to enjoy the best value in the game with club’s determined to keep the game affordable and effectively subsidised by their commercial deals.

For the equivalent of around £20 you can get into almost any Bundesliga match, enjoy public transport to the stadium and also have a reasonably priced beer at the game.

Last night Bayern fans had to pay €75 to sit in the corner of the bottom tier to watch their opponents expensive new recruits.

Bayern are one of three major clubs to have complained to UEFA about PSG breaking FFP rules.

After assembling a £400m strike force PSG have claimed that increased commercial deals on the back of those signings will make their current side affordable.

UEFA have still to officially respond to the concerns raised about PSG and FFP.
