Boyd attacks Celtic- again

Desperate to find a negative about Celtic, Kris Boyd has shown his double standards in today’s edition of The Sun.

After a predictable testimonial to his close friend Kenny Miller the Kilmarnock marksman decided to focus on a video clip about a song about Ibrox kitman Jimmy Bell.

The clip is inside a pub or club involving perhaps 50 to 60 people and is the issue of the day for Boyd.

In The Sun he writes: “THINGS couldn’t be going better for Celtic just now.

They are on top form in the league having just beaten Rangers convincingly in the first Old Firm game of the season.

This week they got a brilliant victory in the Champions League against Anderlecht.

Why then do they have a section of fans who want to sing disgusting songs about a Rangers kitman?

There’s a video doing the rounds showing supporters belting out absolutely outrageous stuff, kids even joining in.”

Boyd was a player at Rangers (IL) when UEFA banned singing of The Billy Boys but there is no record of him criticising supporters for singing that song.

With the SPFL and SFA turning a deaf ear to it’s return perhaps Boyd may like to use his influence to speak out against it?

Last night INSIDE the stadium at Hamilton, Sevco fans could be heard singing about their wishes for the deaths of the Lisbon Lions.

With his platforms in The Sun, BBC Scotland, Sky Sports and BT Sport surely Boyd will be telling his fellow Ibrox fans to cut out that one out of their already vile songbook.
