Leigh Griffiths starts today’s clash with Hibs on the bench as Brendan Rodgers pairs Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard together in attack.

Brendan Rodgers has made five changes to the side that won 3-0 away to Anderlecht and will start the match in a 3-5-2 formation.

Today’s match has an incredible number of themes running through it with Neil Lennon returning to Celtic Park with Anthony Stokes and Efe Ambrose in his side.

Leigh Griffiths gets to play against Hibs for the first time as a Celtic player having been out on the streets of Leith applauding the club he supported as a kid lift the Scottish Cup 16 months ago.

With Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong both out injured it opens up two places in the Celtic midfield with the clock ticking towards the Champions League tie away to Bayern Munich.

Brendan Rodgers won’t take any chances with the fitness of either player but does have various options to play in those roles.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Tierney; Forrest, Ntcham, McGregor, Rogic, Hayes; Dembele, Edouard

SUBS: De Vries, Ralston, Ajer, E Henderson, Roberts, Sinclair, Griffiths
