After recently being without a single striker and forced to investigate ‘false number nine’s’ Brendan Rodgers is spoiled for choice for goal-getters.
Leigh Griffiths seems to be over the worst of his muscle problems and is currently the first choice striker, Moussa Dembele made a scoring return against Ross County while new bhoy Odsonne Edouard made a scoring, and impressive debut away to Hamilton.
With a full compliment of options Rodgers can plan the next few fixtures carefully to ensure that his side make progress in all three competitions.
Progressing past Dundee, Sevco and taking at least a point from Anderlecht next week would represent as good a week’s work as Rodgers has known out-with the crucial Champions League Pay-offs.
