Dedryck Boyata makes his first appearance of the season tonight with Brendan Rodgers teaming him up with Nir Bitton in central defence.

There are six changes to the side that beat Ross County on Saturday with Moussa Dembele dropping out after returning to action in the 4-0 win over the Dingwall side.

In the previous round Celtic beat Kilmarnock 5-0 despite making eight changes to the side that beat Hearts in the opening league match.

With Sevco and Anderlecht coming up in the next eight days Rodgers is managing his squad carefully with Boyata and Dembele returning from injury

Victory tonight will take the hoops into tomorrow’s semi final draw alongside Hibs and Sevco.

Should Aberdeen join Celtic in the draw it will be the same four clubs as reached the semi-finals of last season’s Scottish Cup which the hoops lifted by beating Derek McInnes’ side in the Hampden final.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Bitton, Boyata, Tierney; Brown, Ntcham; Forrest, Roberts, Sinclair, Griffiths
