Willie Collum was one of the major talking points as Celtic drew 2-2 with Hibs.
The dropped points allowed Aberdeen to draw level at the top of the table with the hoops clear on goal difference.
Callum McGregor opened and closed the scoring with a second half double from John McGinn threatening to end Celtic’s unbeaten domestic record.
It was a great match but unfortunately the erratic refereeing of Willie Collum left the fans, players and managers bewildered.
This sums Willie Collum up. First blatant pulling back, no penalty. Second the smallest of pulls, free kick. pic.twitter.com/3Xns5FHrbF

The classic criticism of referees is that they understand the rules but not the game. I don’t think Willie Collum even understands the rules

Willie Collum tells Jonny Hayes it would have been a penalty if Scott Sinclair had gone down.
Unbelievable!

Must be a strange feeling for Lenny coming to Celtic Park and having Willie Collum on his side

Only the fact the Andrew Dallas exists stops Willie Collum from being the worst ref in Scotland. Collum is incompetent, Dallas is a cheat

Willie Collum had a Willie Collum today!

2-2 was probably about right, no complaints on the back of such an unusually poor display, but Willie Collum ? Hows he still reffing games ????

@celticfc were a disgrace. Hibs were very good, probablybdeserved to win, but in the end, Willie collum decided the result.

Collums’s display was as strange as that given by Andrew Dallas on Friday night at the Hamilton v Sevco match.
It seems that the same referees can disregard the rules to suit their own interpretation with little prospect of demotion.
As the final whistle blew both sets of supporters made it clear that once again the Lanarkshire based referee had unduly influenced and detracted from what could have been an even better contest.
