Young McCrorie escaped with a nervous handball in the first half but midway through the second period he had no answer to the pace, movement and finishing of the Celtic striker.
Patrick Roberts pass was perfectly weighted with Griffiths timing his run perfectly before lashing a low shot into the net beyond Foderingham.
As he raced away to celebrate the striker managed to find a Celtic scarf, waved it in the air and milked the abuse of the home fans as he closed in on his 100th Celtic goal.
