Adam Roberts endured a stressful summer but last night the sleepless nights and grief all became worthwhile.
Five minutes into the second half of Celtic’s clash with Anderlecht his brother Patrick cut inside a defender and fired a low shot towards goal.
It took a deflection in front of the keeper but no one cared as the ball flew into the net to put Celtic 2-0 up.

Patrick could have been preparing to play Swansea or Bournemouth this weekend but very few EPL jobsworths get to score in the Champions League.
With the ball in the net Patrick raced over to join the celebrations of the visiting supporters, many of whom had followed everything Adam had put out on social media as they waited on word of a deal with Manchester City.
The new deal may only be for a season but after the last two matches it promises to be memorable for the player, fans and of course brother Adam.
