Kylian Mbappe ripped it up in last season’s Champions League but looked in awe of a new arena last night.

Last season the teenager helped drive Monaco to the semi-final of the Champions League with Manchester City, Spurs and Borussia Dortmund victims along the way.

Even at the age of 18 Mbappe was a cut above the rest with Real Madrid expected to take him to the Spanish capital.

Backed by the oil rich state of Qatar PSG had other ideas and agreed a complex deal to take Mbappe on loan from Monaco with a £166 fee agreed for next summer to work around UEFAs Financial Fair Play regulations.

The explosive young striker could have been playing against Anthony Ralston in the u-19 match at Dumbarton today but will take centre stage alongside Neymar tonight.

While Brendan Rodgers has made careful plans to deal with the striking threat of PSG the Celtic boss is determined to see his side take the game to the French club and test out their defensive capabilities.
