Pedro Caixinha has come up with a bizarre analogy with Las Vegas to take the heat off his broken dressing room.

This morning the Daily Record and The Sun both carried details of Monday’s team meeting following the 2-0 defeat from Celtic on Saturday.

The Sun concentrated on Caixinha’s concerns that the squad hadn’t gelled while the Record went into greater detail spotlighting the manager tearing into Graham Dorrans for handing the captain’s armband to substitute Kenny Miller.

Rumours about friction between the UK players and the fifth best coach in Qatar have been rife on social media with the news this morning adding to the pressure Caixinha will be under against Hamilton on Friday night.

“Have you ever been in Las Vegas?” he answered when asked about the reports of Monday’s stormy meeting. “What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas. “I’m a confident guy.

“If the things are coming out it’s because someone didn’t like the game that we play in Las Vegas, that’s all so I am happy with that.”

“Normally, I always finish with one question. Does someone have something to say? Normally, we never receive one answer but we encourage with questions, with facts, with the analysis, with more on the cognitive side and how to take decisions.

“I can tell you what I can tell you. I’m not going to tell you what I don’t want to tell you because it’s private.

“I’m totally comfortably. Las Vegas is a great city. You enjoy too much but what happens there needs to stay there.”

Caixinha takes the best squad in Scotland to Hamilton on Friday night sitting in fifth place in the Premiership.

With a three year contract signed in March it will be a costly exercise to dismiss Caixinha but with the support on the brink of revolting against the board it seems certain that a Real Rangers Man will soon be in charge to keep the fans onside with Dave King.
