Sutton hits back

Chris Sutton has brushed aside the pleas to hit Scott Brown with a retrospective ban for the ‘elbow incident’ with Alfredo Morelos.

After watching his side lose to Celtic for the third time Pedro Caixinha decided to highlight an alleged elbowing incident that explained his half-time confrontation with the Celtic skipper.

Forensic inspection of the match discovered an incident during the game where Brown had his arm extended as Morelos approached from behind.

While the fifth best coach in Qatar ranted like a dog barking at a caravan the Celtic skipper got on with his job of guiding the hoops to victory and an eight point lead over the Ibrox side.

Yesterday the SFA Compliance Officer was contacted to see if there would be any action taken against Brown with the suggestion instantly dismissed.
