Watt in awe of PSG

Tony Watt was taken aback by the skill and pace of Paris Saint Germain.
Five years ago the striker scored the winning goal for Celtic against Barcelona but there was no prospect of a repeat last night.
Celtic have been used to playing in matches with little in the way of possession but as Watt demonstrated in 2012 it only takes a half chance to find the back of the net.
This PSG side won’t even need a defender til about the semi final! Best team I’ve watched in a while ??????????

Last night was something rather different with Celtic repeatedly opened up and unable to compete with opponents who hunted in packs but also found space all over the pitch.
One match against Celtic is no basis to judge whether a club is potential Champions League winner but their progress in this season’s event will be watched closely.
In a fortnight Bayern Munich visit the French capital with Robert Lewandowski likely to provide a greater test to the PSG back four.
Celtic will visit Anderlecht at the same time with that fixture already looking like a third place play-off after just 90 minutes of action.
