Nadir Ciftci’s goal drought continued with the loan Celt lasting 68 minutes of Plymouth’s 0-0 draw away to Bury.

It was his fifth appearance for Derek Adams’ side who have yet to win a game since the striker arrived on loan on the south coast. Plymouth are now second bottom of League One with five points from eight matches.

Closer to home Ryan Christie had to wait until the 58th minute to appear in Aberdeen’s 1-1 home draw with Kilmarnock who included for Celts Stuart Findlay, Calum Waters and Stephen O’Donnell in their defence.

Jamie Lindsay missed out on Ross County’s 4-0 defeat at Celtic for obvious reasons with Scott Allan watching Dundee’s 3-2 win over St Johnstone from the bench.

Down a division Joe Thomson missed out on Livingston’s 3-1 win away to Inverness Caley Thistle while Ross Doohan was on the bench for Morton’s 2-1 win away to Queen of the South.

Sam Wardrop enjoyed 90 minutes as Dumberton beat Brechin City 2-1.
