Pedro Caixinha is still hunting down the Ibrox grass.

At the end of last season the fifth best coach in Qatar was unhappy that news of 6am punishment training sessions appeared on the back pages.

After Saturday’s defeat from Celtic details of the Murray Park post mortem appeared in the Sun and the Daily Record.

Neither version portrayed Caixinha in a flattering light.

The Sun focussed on the attack that the Ibrox boss made on the UK based players for not welcoming their new Latin colleagues to Ibrox.

Across at the Record they claimed that Caixinha was furious at Graham Dorrans for handing the armband to super sub Kenny Miller.

It’s good that it’s coming out; it’s just one confirmation, confirmation that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” the confused Ibrox boss told The Scotsman. “But some guys are going and telling everything to their wife. They go against the promise, they go against the sentence.

Is the story inaccurate? I don’t know. I don’t know the story. I know what happened in Las Vegas but I know also that what happens in Las Vegas ‘should’ stay in Las Vegas.”

Asked again about the content and accuracy of the reports Caixinha added: “Look, I don’t care about the story – I know what happened. It happened exactly in this room but it’s between me and my players. It’s private.”

Caixinha takes his broken dressing room to Hamilton tomorrow night knowing that there are players in his squad plotting against him.

It’s only a matter of time before he goes but with a three year contract drawn up by super-agent Pedro Mendes it will be an expensive exercise for the cash strapped Ibrox side to get rid of their Portuguese disaster.
