Celtic dominated Hearts from start to finish to record their second win of the season in the Development League with a 2-0 win at Ochilview.

Jack Aitchison opened the scoring just before half time with the Henderson brothers, playing together for the first time, combining for Celtic’s second.

The team was mainly made up of the side that lost 3-2 to Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Youth League.

Joe Thomson returned from Livingston to get some game time while Jamie McCart and Liam Henderson came in for similar purposes.

Celtic dominated the first half but found Hearts quite happy to play with two deep lying banks of four.

Henderson showed a few ambitious touches but chances were at a premium with a few long range efforts the closest Celtic came until Aitchison made the breakthrough.

Racing on to a precision pass from Mikey Johnston the 17-year-old never had to lift his head but instinctively pushed his shot past Kelby Mason into the net.

Celtic continued to dominate after the break but ten minutes into the second half Conor Hazard was in inspired form with two exceptional close range saves to maintain Celtic’s lead.

Just before the hour mark Ewan Henderson replaced Grant Savoury and took just seven minutes to make his mark- shooting home emphatically across Mason from a perfectly flighted pass his big brother.

CELTIC: Hazard, Bell, Deas, McCart, Hill, Thomson, Hendry(c) (McInroy 80), Savoury (E Henderson), L. Henderson, Johnston, Aitchison (Watson 66).

SUBS: Duffy, Willison, Caffery, Welsh
