Brendan Rodgers has admitted to singing the Brendan Rodgers song.
Before he had even taken charge of a single Celtic match a group of fans on holiday had adopted the words of a hymn in celebration of the Irishman ‘coming to lead the green and white’.
Thanks to the power of social media the song spread quickly and was quickly adopted inside Celtic Park.

A year and a half into his reign it seems that the person who created the song knew a thing or two about the game.
With two successive Champions League campaigns to his credit, three trophies and six Glasgow derby successes to his name Rodgers can do little wrong.
After watching attendances drop on a game by game basis the arrival of Rodgers has pushed season ticket sales back up above 50,000 with new songs being created constantly to celebrate the Irishman and the players pushing for success.
Later this month Rodgers will launch his autobiography with the proceeds going to charity.
