Celtic’s first team players have produced a video congratulating their fans on being voted the best in the world by FIFA.
The Lisbon Lions tifo display at the final match of last season against Hearts earned the nomination with the hoops beating FC Copenhagen and Borussia Dortmund in the final vote.
The display was masterminded by the Green Brigade who arranged for three seperate stadium displays that were unfurled as the team came on to the park for the final league match of their unbeaten campaign.

Despite the award there has been a number of news outlets questioning the decision with Celtic on the end of a dozen UEFA fines in recent times for incidents involving flares and banners produced by supporters.
While those incidents are regrettable UEFA dish out fines for individual incidents on a routine basis with Paris Saint Germain and Anderlecht also fined for issues at Champions League matches.
