The SFA were forced into redrawing the third round of the Scottish Cup after another live televised blunder for the third round draw.

Allocating a team to each of 32 numbered balls shouldn’t be too difficult a task but two years after the balls started to open to reveal team names the SFA and sponsors Willliam Hill were again left red faced.

Fifteen of the 16 ties had already been drawn when trouble struck in the draw carried out by Archie Knox and Derek Sim of Montrose with the drawn shown live on the SFA facebook page.

Sim pulled out number 9 for Brora Rangers but was told it was a 6 but he insisted that it was a 9 with the draw abandoned in embarrassing scenes with Brora already given a home game against Queens Park.

When the draw was redone Brora were given a nightmare trip to Stranraer with Queens Park at home to Dunfermline.
