Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong are expected to be fit for Celtic’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

The midfield duo picked up muscle injuries away to Anderlecht and were forced out of the Scotland squad after missing Celtic’s 2-2 draw with Hibs.

Brendan Rodgers won’t take any chances with Brown or Armstrong against Dundee on Saturday but is confident that they will be available to face the Germans.

That news is a massive boost for Celtic’s hopes especially with Tom Rogic rattling up the air miles with Australia’s World Cup bid.

Since Celtic drew with Hibs Rogic has been in Malaysia and Australia with next month involving back-to-back fixtures in Honduras and Australia.

Olivier Ntcham was involved in two matches for the French u21 side while Callum McGregor was a passenger in Scotland’s latest failure.

With the Bayern match coming up and players returning from international duty Rodgers is expected to field a makeshift side against Dundee on Saturday.
