Dorus de Vries was an unlikely hero for Celtic in their 1-0 win over Dundee.
Olivier Ntcham scored the only goal of the game in the 61st minute but the former Nottingham Forest keeper pulled off a couple of great saves to secure the points.
It’s more than a year since de Vries started a match but with a heavy fixture list coming up in October Brendan Rodgers opted to give Craig Gordon an afternoon off.
Despite falling behind Dundee pushed strongly for an equalised but found de Vries in great form despite not even playing in a Development League match this season.
That’s the first save I’ve seen from Dorus de Vries – Ever 🙂

The win kept Celtic ahead of Aberdeen on goal difference at the top of the table with Derek McInnes’ side winning 1-0 away to Hibs with former Celt Gary Mackay-Steven scoring the only goal of the game.
The top two will meet at Pittodrie on Wednesday October 25 following next weekend’s League Cup semi-finals.
