Celtic fans were delighted as their side struck top form to sweep Aberdeen aside 3-0 at Pittodrie.
It was a vintage performance from the hoops who played a brand of football that the home team couldn’t get near despite starting the match level on points with Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Celtic were on top of things from the first whistle with Kieran Tierney crashing in the opener after 13 minutes following a great run by Moussa Dembele down the right.
It was role reversal six minutes from the break when a brilliant run and cross from Tierney was met by Dembele who bundled the ball home from inside the six yard box.

Celtic looked capable of scoring at will but had to wait until the 63rd minute to add to the score-sheet when Dembele headed home from close range after Dedryck Boyata headed a Stuart Armstrong free kick across goal.
The only consolation for Aberdeen was Sevco drawing 1-1 at home to Kilmarnock which leaves them five points ahead of the Ibrox side in the race for second place although Motherwell are now just four behind in third spot.
