Ryan Jack collected his third red card of the season last night as Sevco were held to a 1-1 draw by Kilmarnock.

In 13 appearances for the Ibrox side the midfielder has been red carded against Hibs, Hamilton and now Killie. In 37 matches for Aberdeen last season Jack was only sent off once.

Last night’s ordering off came in an incident with Kirk Broadfoot as the two players waited for Sevco to take a penalty.

The players went face to face before Jack raised his knee sending the former Rangers (IL) utility man to the ground holding his face.

Referee Alan Muir red carded Jack with Broadfoot booked before Jamie MacDonald saved the penalty from Daniel Candeias.

Kilmarnock then equalised in the final minute of stoppage time when Chris Burke scored from close range following a low ball across goal from ex Celt Stephen O’Donnell.

Jack will now miss Saturday’s trip to face Hearts at Murrayfield with Graham Dorrans also a doubt after being substitued in the 22nd minute with a leg knock.
