Chris Sutton couldn’t resist a cryptic comment after Sevco’s 3-1 win away to Hearts.

The BT Sport pundit quickly called out Pedro Caixinha and failed to be taken in by the spin surrounding the fifth best coach in Qatar.

After losing 2-0 to Motherwell in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup the final straw for Caixinha was Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock.

Within 24 hours Caixinha had taken his last training session, driven to Ibrox and negotiated his pay off.

The search for a replacement seems to entirely consist of checking through a list of Real Rangers Men following the appointments of Mark Warburton and Caixinha.

Graeme Murty was in charge for the win over Hearts but isn’t a contender to take on the job on a permanent basis although two goal Kenny Miller is expected to be on the short list and would be the cheapest option.
