Chris Sutton couldn’t resist a tweet at Neil McCann’s expense as he took Dundee to the foot of the SPFL table.

McCann took temporary charge of Dundee following the sacking of Paul Hartley in April and kept them away from the relegation and play-off spot.

After announcing that he wouldn’t be taking on the job on a permanent basis the Sky Sports presenter changed his mind 48 hours later and quit the comfort of the TV studio for the pressure of the dug out.

Dundee lost 3-1 at home to Hamilton Accies which left them three points behind the Lanarkshire side and level with Kilmarnock at the foot of the table with just eight points from 12 matches and a goal difference of -11.

Four top flight managers have already lost their jobs this season with the pressure on McCann not to join Lee McCulloch, Jim McIntyre, Ian Cathro and Pedro Caixinha on the managerial scrapheap.
