Will Compliance Officer charge Pena?
The SFA Compliance Officer could finally come out of hibernation this week.
While Alfredo Morelos escaped retrospective punishment for kicking out against Partick Thistle two weeks ago his Sevco team mate Carlos Pena may not be so fortunate.
The chunky midfielder could be the subject of a suspension after being caught on camera elbowing Greg Docherty during Friday’s 4-1 win over Hamilton Accies.
Pena was booked by referee Andrew Dallas for a late over the ball foul in the 13th minute that could easily have been a red card then was caught by BT Sport cameras elbowing Docherty.
Later on in the match Pena used an arm to ‘score’ but after initially appearing to give a goal referee Andrew Dallas disallowed it but refused to issue a second yellow to the Mexican.
Ryan Jack was sent off soon afterwards and will automatically miss the next SPFL match- away to St Johnstone on October 13.
