Scott Sinclair has sent his condolences to the family of an eldery Celtic supporter who met the player on his way back from last season’s trophy day.
William Sinclair was suffering from caner when he made the trip last season and was delighted to find the Celtic favourite on the same flight as he returned to Bristol.
It must have seemed like just another fan picture for Sinclair but last week it took on a little more meaning.
Hi Matthew @Mongerbunger I just saw your post and wanted to send my condolences to you and your family!???? https://t.co/Xb9a2cMNgW

Sinclair was the runaway Player of the Year across the boards in Scotland last season after making his debut in the opening SPFL match away to Hearts at Tynecastle.
The £3.5m signing from Aston Villa came off the bench to score the winner that day and instantly became a favourite with the fans- scoring in each of his first six SPFL matches.
Sinclair started his career with Bristol Rovers before moving to Chelsea where he first worked with Brendan Rodgers.
