Chris Sutton has called on Sevco to sack Pedro Caixinha.

While Ally McCoist ducked away from the obvious answer is fellow BT Sport pundit was blunt in his assessment.

Caixinha has looked on over a catalogue of disasters over the last six months despite a £10m summer spending spree.

Speaking on BT Sport Sutton said: “He’s talked a lot, he’s barked a lot, but for me he has to go. He’s underachieved. Nothing has changed my mind.

“There’s a lot of talk after they win a game, a lot of bigging themselves up. They haven’t won three games on the trot under him. They won’t be playing Tina Turner on the coach on the way home.

“Do Rangers fans really want to carry on watching this dross?”

Sutton came under fire at the start of last season when he called out Mark Warburton describing the former city trader as the new Ronny Deila.

At the time Warbo was being acclaimed as the Magic Hat but by February he was on his way out of Ibrox with the fifth best coach on Qatar brought in as a replacement.

With a three year contract Caixinha will almost certainly be put on gardening leave with a number of Real Rangers Men led by Alex McLeish waiting in the wings to climb the marble staircase.
