There’s no doubt that Bayern Munich enjoyed their two matches with Celtic- unfortunately a little too much.
German football retains more of the old fashioned values of football with the fan still at the heart of the game rather than the sponsor and the business.
Thanks for having us tonight @celticfc, all the best with your final two @ChampionsLeague group games ???? #CELFCB pic.twitter.com/2xxzoRZ2gM

Bayern welcomed Celtic to Munich with the red carpet treatment, turning a blind eye to Celtic fans buying tickets for almost every area inside the Allianz Arena.
The welcome to Glasgow was similar for the German champions although there were no Celtic fans prepared to sell their ticket for one of the top games of the season.
Celtic Park provided some old school atmosphere with the fans fully engaged by the daring display of their side led by three players brought up through the ranks.
On this occasion it wasn’t quite enough but all the signs are that Brendan Rodgers is developing a team to match the surroundings that they play in and the backing that comes from the fans.
