Wes Foderingham found himself in the eye of the storm after trying to bask in the glory of being an ‘Old Firm’ star.
Life with the second club in Glasgow hasn’t been much fun over the last 18 months as they cast an envious eye to the east end where Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain are on the fixture list.
After being sold an ‘Old Firm’ vision glamour has been thin on the ground for Sevco players with that fact underlined strongly in the derby fixture.
Six defeats and a draw since Brendan Rodgers took charge of the hoops has had a demoralising effect on the Ibrox support but it seems that being on the same park as Scott Brown and Moussa Dembele provides some comfort for players who largely go un-noticed.
After positing a picture from the most recent humiliation, a 2-0 defeat at Ibrox, Foderingham found himself on the end of fan anger.
I give 100% for this football club. A picture doesn’t change that. You are entitled to your opinion of course but as soon as I have an opinion everyone gets offended? Come on now. https://t.co/dsznRRm3Gr

Rather than ignore the abuse the keeper decided to respond as the full anger of fans conditioned to success spilt over onto one of their own.
In five Premiership appearances against Celtic Fodders has lost 15 goals including five in one match at Celtic Park and Ibrox.
