Fourteen years after lining up against Porto in Seville Rab Douglas is still playing senior football.
All of his colleagues from that famous day against Porto have fallen by the wayside with Shaun Maloney the last of the outfield players to hang up his boots.
Maloney is now on the coaching staff at Celtic but yesterday at Hampden the veteran keeper was pulling on his gloves for Arbroath against Queens Park at the national stadium.
Well at the age of 45.6 years young ???? I go and make my debut for @LichtiesNews after 3 spells with the club at the national stadium, great win for the boys and a clean sheet for the fat Cat ????????????????????????#maltwhisky better with age ????????????

After a stint at Leicester City he returned to Dundee and also enjoyed a three year spell with Forfar Athletic.
Prior yesterday’s match his last seniot appearance was in December 2015 against Albion Rovers for Forfar Athletic.
